Sansinirangan Project
Meteo Station with Rain Isotope Collector

Sansinirangan is a Waray term for “ Dawn”. This was also the name given to the meteostation with Rainwater Isotope collector design of Eskwala Team of MMC-14 -Class Anluwage for the Project PHI 5034.

Sansinirangan is a rain isotope collector with built-in weather station that is capable of giving online real time information to peoples cellphones through a cloud application which will be beneficial to the people of Tacloban by serving as an early warning device for floods and storms.

Features:

WTB 100 Rain Gauge

Parameter Measured: Rain/precipitation quantity
Measurement Technology: Tipping bucket with bounce-free reed contact (normally closed)
Product Highlights: Resolution can be switched from 0.2 to 0.5 with reduction ring, connectable to any WS-sensor without precipitation measurement
Interfaces: Impulses output (reed contact)

WS501-UMB Smart Weather Sensor

Parameter Measured: Temperature, relative humidity, air pressure, wind direction, wind speed, radiation
Measurement Technology: Ultrasonic/Wind, NTC/T, Capacitive/RH, MEMS capacitive/Pressure, Kipp&Zonen Pyronometer/Radiation
Product Highlights: Wind detection with birdproof construction. Compact all-in-one weather sensor, low power, heater, aspirated radiation shield, maintenance-free operation, open communication protocol.
Interfaces: RS485 with supported protocols UMB-Binary, UMB-ASCII, Modbus-RTU, Modbus-ASCII, XDR and SDI-12

OTT HydroSystem
Complete hydrological gauging stations with telemetry

OTT Hydrosystems offer a decisive price advantage compared to individual configured systems, The IP-enabled and highly energy-efficient datalogger OTT netDL is the core of the system. Several SDI-12 sensors may be connected to the rugged logger, as it has up to 40 channels. The measured data may be remotely transferred via built-in cellular modem, optionally via satellite or Ethernet.

Rain Sampler 2 (RS-2i)

The RAIN SAMPLER RS-2i is free-standing device specially designed to store collected precipitation for weeks or even months without significant evaporation and associated fractionation. Therefore, it is particularly well suited to determine the isotopic composition of rain water.

Rain water enters the 6 or 10l HDPE plastic bottle through the funnel and the intake tube (Deep pipe). Protection against birds is attached to the top of the funnel. Inside the funnel is a stainless steel mesh to prevent dirt from entering the bottle.
